    Positive Outlook

I worked at Evergreen Marine full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It is a first rate world class company. It is a Global conglomerate that feels like a family business at times. Although International pressures have forced the company to make drastic cuts at times, it still has a surprisingly high retention record

    Cons

The cons can also be more pros. It is a fast paced multinational company that never sleeps. For some this can be a Con for those that like a challenge and a fast pace and its rewards, it can be a substantial positive point.

    Advice to Management

Don't know that I am in a position to advise them on anything. It is a strong solid ship. Maybe more flexibility with handling of the middle management cadres.

Share more important jobs to your subordinate, making them feel trusted and find sense of achievement.
