I have been working at Evergreen Rehabilitation part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

High pay, provide an adequate number of computers. I prefer computers for everyone vs the handheld device/computer combo used by Genesis. Evergreen's version of ROX is more streamlined and easier to use than the Genesis version.

    Cons

I work in a SNF building which was taken over by evergreen in 2015 after being Genesis for 20 years. To me, as a non-management person, it seems like a mess. First, lots of employees left the building to stay with Genesis to keep their seniority and vacation days. Second, those who stayed are unhappy to be starting over with no leave banked and only earning 12 days per year. Third, the marketing dept did not get going until Evergreen had been around 3 months, so census has been down, especially Med A census, and hours have been cut.

    Advice to Management

When you take over a building, do the right thing and allow re-hires to bring at least some of their accrued time with them. When you take over a build, hit marketing hard right away rather than letting census drop and cutting hours.

I have been working at Evergreen Rehabilitation full-time

    Pros

Higher pay than some other rehab companies

    Cons

Regional manager is blatantly unconcerned with unethical behaviors.

    Advice to Management

Clean up some of the regional managers. If a therapist's hours don't look reasonable, they aren't.
