I worked at Evine full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very friendly staff and mostly friendly and helpful supervisors in CS department

    Cons

2 years and no raise. Inflexible in scheduling. Little to no incentive to improve or perform well, metrics are very difficult to meet much less exceed.

    Advice to Management

Spend some time in the trenches with the agents to see what they ACTUALLY do and deal with. 3 name changes and CEOs in past 3 years.

    Pros

If you enjoy harassing people, and have loss jobs in the past for being a poor team player, this is the place for you!!!You will for sure be promoted, and drive out anyone that might not be as great as you think you are to the company. Free shipping for some items, and employee discount.

    Cons

Your managers will do very little to ensure you're happy, or protect you against any physical or mental harassment. Also, HR will ignore complaints, and ensure any work issues will get worse.

    Advice to Management

Teach your HR team how to write performance improvement plans. This will be 90% of their job. Also, listen to team members that want to stay with the company, but want to move to a different team due to difficult team members.

    Pros

Great for someone right of college or an intern but horrible if you have ever had a corporate job before.

    Cons

Bad management, the place was ran like a high school. This place really wants to be Target and/or HSN.

    Advice to Management

Be carful who you hire as Buyers, half the time they have no idea what they are doing and have clue on what the Merchandise Coordinator is supposed to be doing.

    Pros

Constantly replacing people jumping from one person to the next in a desperate hope somehow they'll figure out how not to be morons.

    Cons

Constantly replacing people jumping from one person to the next in a desperate hope somehow they'll figure out how not to be morons. Managers do not communicate with you or respond to emails. They change their mind on a whim and make up lies when it suits them. Total and complete disfunction there.

    Advice to Management

    Get Bent

    Pros

Great team member who work really hard and want to see the company succeed. Small enough that team members are able to participate in things they may not be able to at a larger company.

    Cons

Constant turnover in leadership is unsettling and exhausting.

    Pros

Good people in customer service, it's what kept me going back for over 5 years.

    Cons

Poor hours, no flexibility, bad upper management. The company was way too top heavy with VPs, directors, managers, etc. and paid the lower class employees poorly. Recognition unless you're in a top department is non existent. People in positions to make decisions and changes to process had little to no understanding of the job or how the changes made would affect everyone, including customers. Snap decisions were constantly made to fix issues in the interim, with no forethought to the future or a permanent solution.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your front line staff. Make informed decisions, her upper level management more involved in the customer aspect so they understand what their employees and customers want
