    Pros

Good company to work for. Awesome benefits. company paid holidays are great. Like how we have company wide meeting to discuss the growth of the company.

    Cons

Upper management doesn’t always understand the work level and how it impacts the worker. Some managers or directors don’t show appreciation to their teams.

    Advice to Management

Speak with staff. Show you understand and appreciate them more.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits
    25 days PTO
Most of my co-workers are great

    Cons

Management is terrible and the company frequently says it promotes work life balance but in practice it has no respect for the work life balance of employees. Also having employees all over the country is a real pain for those in earlier time zones, forget about dinner with your family.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees at all levels

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Employee friendly policies.
    Multiple opportunities to grow.

    Cons

Too employee friendly policies, Most people either work from home or work 2-3 days in office location.
Governance structure for new business implementation and existing business support is pretty loose.

    Advice to Management

Make the organization more leaner to succeed and be more profitable.
Accountability is key in each segment of business. This is lacking big time.
Create oversight to control unnecessary wastage of time and money.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time

    Pros

Evolent seems to really care about their employees and provides for our well being. I enjoy the more laid back approach and ability to be more autonomous.

    Cons

So far my only disappoint was a slightly disorganized first day. I expected something more structured.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been working for Evolent for a few months and I already love it! The people and the company are great. There is a culture of teamwork and everyone strives to be the best.

My team has been very helpful during my time here and everyone so far has been happy to help me learn internal and external processes and the industry.

    Cons

Be ready to learn. If you are looking for a job to coast by, love maintaining the status quo , don't like to play well with others and hate doing work that is out of your job description this place is not for you. It's for motivated, hungry top performers who are happy and willing to take a challenge alongside great people.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The hiring process was quick for this position, however if you have applied for several position it could take awhile to hear from a recruiter because they want to place you in a position that is the best fit for you.

    Cons

I was hired during an Evolent /Passport transition which caused delay in access for crucial programs needed to conduct my daily duties. I'm a month in and still don't have access to at least 4 programs.

    Advice to Management

Request access for new hires as soon as the background check is cleared, this will help with weeks of delay.

I worked at Evolent Health full-time

    Pros

    there are no pro reasons

    Cons

Was given feedback per email "not a good fit" for a position I have held with Medicaid for over three years. Clearly, my resume` either was not read by the the robo-recruiter, OR I am not being hired due to ??? It makes me wonder who/what would be a "good fit". How much experience is necessary in order to "qualify" for an esteemed position with this company? How many years of experience is needed? In the job description, it was spelled out, and my experience was within the job description parameters. Yet, I was considered, "not a good fit".
In addition, feed back was received that I had been discussed openly by local management , and the conversation was overheard by people known to me. Not professional. Not classy.

    Advice to Management

When discussing a potential employee, do not discuss them in front of other workers. This is a form of harassment. Read your harassment manual. If you make mistakes as a manager, own your mistakes.
Find out why qualified individuals are being passed over for positions, and why they are not offered "EQUAL OPPORTUNITY".
Perhaps the EEOC should pay you all a visit.
