I have been working at Evolent Health full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Unlimited PTO, work from home options, competitive 401(k) (if it gets funded), C-level leadership seems transparent and accountable

    Cons

This place grew so fast they never bothered to put processes in place. It's unreal how much everything is held together with rubber bands and super glue - you'd expect from a startup but not a "industry leader." Faux leadership, no idea how these people got promoted. Cut benefits and bonuses even when they tell you to your face you're a "star performer."

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Coworkers, benefits, work from home, friendliness. Some upper management very nice and willing to listen to ideas.

    Cons

Not structured, unfortunately they do not communicate with all staff and have staff advise other coworkers what is changing.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

25 pto days, work from home

    Cons

Director, Manager and Supervisor will throw you under the bus, makes sure all their friends and family that's not qualified are promoted while leaving the hard working people behind.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great colleagues, work from home option

    Cons

Company is falling down, they cut down our benefits - no salary increases , 401 k match only for employees who stay till end of year , cut down bonus. Lot of favoritism, if you are friends with the Sr director and above level you get promoted if not does not matter how hard you work , you will not be recognized. Selfish Indian Sr. management in IT who run the department like it's their family business, not thinking about the companies best interest. Full of dirty politics.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

PTO, work from home possibility, location

    Cons

No job security at hand in claims department.. 2 out of 3 directors are mature and are great people managers but then there is one who leads with fear and intimidation and lacks the maturity to be in the position. Then this trickles down to the managers and supervisors within the team leading to a level of dysfunction and deterioration within the entire team. Out of 5 claim managers, 1 actually is always willing to assist anyone even if they are not a direct report, and out of 10 plus supervisors, maybe 2 can answer a claims question and if they can’t, the one claims manager as mentioned above is the go to manager who again always assists everyone. Worried this manager will seek employment elsewhere soon because the client worked is terminating and nobody feels safe that there will be jobs at the end of the day.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-flexibility in hours -work from home ability -great benefits -great pto/vacation -not micro-managing (depending on your team)

    Cons

If you excel in your job you get rewarded with more work and extremely minimal raises (think cents) despite great “exceeds expectations” yearly reviews. “It pays to know someone” is the name of the game. Those who get hired by knowing someone in upper management often start at double what the position salary starting pay is. Those that do not work/cannot handle workload get their work passed off to those who can, increasing workloads to unreasonable amounts. Not enough accountability for under-performers. Lack of a training and development team (for all areas) makes it difficult to bring on new hires to be effective and set them up for success. Constant restructures happening every few months, there is never time to see what works and what doesn’t. Lack of communication when changes are made causes much confusion and frustration.

I have been working at Evolent Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible work policies--work from home/good PTO.

    Cons

Limited growth potential beyond AD level, which is odd considering its a growth company. Feels like there are two companies: Evolent-at-Large and the Inner Circle.
