    No opinion of CEO

I worked at EwingCole full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Talented young people Solid teams and hard working, goal oriented management.

    Cons

Two exceedingly toxic partners. Lip service to culture and not supportive of outside the box ideas or concepts. Some are made Associates way before they earned it - criminally political. Lack of diversity and women at leadership positions - honestly they are not even trying to fix this - status quo yeeha.

    Advice to Management

Clear the decks of the screamers and those who throw chairs in anger - not professional and devalues reputation and culture. You know who they are - fire them and make the place 2000% better overnight.

I worked at EwingCole full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fantastic personalities. Great teamwork. Support of growth.

    Cons

A little too much tip-toeing around issues or situations that arose with client which affected junior designers and mid-level.

    Advice to Management

Be more direct with conflicts & ways for employees to improve.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at EwingCole full-time

    Pros

    - Flexibility --> can come and leave whenever - Culture is very lax, lots of events

    Cons

    - No real design opportunities (a lot of TIs) - Compensation under market value (for architects) - Other offices are disconnected to main Philadelphia office - Very traditional management

    Advice to Management

This is not a good place for young people at all. There's a culture of paying your dues and a very traditional-minded upper management that does not want to adopt new ideas. Pay has remained in recession era although we are almost a decade past it.
