    Cons

In an effort to prevent extra costs being passed onto the consumer, company hangs onto old technology that is slow and wastes countless hours of time trying to deal with it.

Free fruit (bananas, orange, and apples) and bagels,

    Cons

Spends money frivolously then wonders why there is no money, management micro manages money for even for a $5 expense, management doesn't have trust or believes in their employees

    Advice to Management

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Exalt Communications full-time

    Pros

Colleagues are seasoned professionals and dedicated to the company
Product is creative and relevant to their market position

    Cons

Make sure to negotiate the very best starting salary possible because performance reviews absolutely do not exist
All teams are understaffed and expected to work evenings and weekends to compensate - Not unusual for a startup, but this company is 8+ years old. "Startup" actually translates into "dysfunctional" after about 6 years
    Chaotic, fear based work environment
    Cronyism is rampant
C level contact and communication is non-existent

    Advice to Management

C Level Execs: Show up once in a while and talk to the "little people" who work for you.
The layer of management between you and your employees is not always a reliable filter of information. These are loyal, hard working employees who really do care about the company - It's not too late to regain their confidence and trust.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Exalt Communications full-time

    Pros

Exalt web solutions is the perfect place for someone looking for a challenging, fast growing environment with opportunities to take on bigger responsibilities and learn cross functional skills. I joined as part of the analyst relations team and soon enough was given the opportunity to manage the full program and additionally take up an area of my interest by handling digital and online marketing for Best7.in."

    Cons

Exalt Web has a great work culture, which provides individuals with ample opportunities to succeed. With a relatively flat organizational structure, EWS encourages innovative thinking and gives everyone a sound hearing, regardless of the seniority of the individual. The mentorship at EWS is simply superb, enabling channelization of raw energy and execution of good ideas brought in by young employees. Personally it has been very satisfying to get an opportunity to discuss ideas with the senior management and be enabled to execute them, at a relatively early stage of my career."

I worked at Exalt Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Qualified people, good knowledge of the technology, strong products with the ability to become best in class for the industry.

    Cons

Micromanaging to a fault. An arrogant attitude by the senior management who created a toxic work environment for everyone involved. Management spent money hand over fist, but only on themselves.

    Advice to Management

They need to resign. Only solution, as they have not managed the changed from start-up to professional business. At fault for not listening to the competent people they have in the different regions.
