    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Exelon Energy full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

They provide direct deposit for your pay, not much else to brag about.

    Cons

Vague and unrealistic expectations. Managers are placed in roles they know nothing about and are just pawns for the out-of-touch upper management. You longevity is based solely on your ability to kiss back sides and know the right people.

  7. "Good Internship Experience"

    4.0

    I worked at Exelon Energy

    Pros

Lots of challenging, yet fulfilling work being given to the interns. The company really seems to value getting new blood into their power plants.

    Cons

Workload may become overbearing at times and corporate seems very separated from the sites.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Exelon Energy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, retirement plan, health insurance.

    Cons

After the acquisition of BG&E, the sales staff was treated poorly. Most of the sales people in Chicago were forced to leave, as well as many sales people in the Kennett Square office. Employees were not treated with respect. Exelon Energy has a mafia mentality, if you're part of it, you're moving up; if you're not, developmental opportunities are very limited.

I worked at Exelon Energy full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

great benefits and pay. job flexibility

    Cons

no mental stimulation. follow the orders, no innovation. innovation is crushed, logic and reasoning are not welcome. too many people on top have too many friends who are making too many $$ outsourcing work to contractors. great for people who just sit and watch as spectators. you will be ignored for promotions and friends of the superiors will be promoted (I am sure this happens everywhere but a little too blatant at Exelon) .
