    Pros

    - If you like Russian work style & culture
    - Ability to travel, work form home couple days / week

    Cons

    - Company has very few customers and very customer-dependent. If they don't pay on time - salaries are late.
    - Unclear management hierarchy, horizontal vs vertical management mess
    - Software company but has very strange way of saving on hardware for developers ( and in general ), have old PCs & etc. Not saving on flights and international meetings, however

    Advice to Management

    - Diversify business to have more customers, more products and more stable income
    - Approve newer tech solutions for new customers
    - Provide better computer hardware for employees

    Pros

Great place to learn new technologies and how to interact with customers. I got a lot of practical experience. I learned how to work in a multi-cultural environment on projects that are executed on 3 continents around the clock.

    Cons

I had to work late hours to interact with colleagues in China and Russia. Language barriers were an issue at times.

    Advice to Management

    Get more new clients

    Pros

Exigen has a laid back easygoing environment and has decent salary and benefits. The vacation allocation is minimal but the holidays are generous.

    Cons

You have to know someone to get a job. There is no clarity on what your job entails. There is no measure for success. Everything is based on who you know. The mission of the firm and your position is never communicated.

    Advice to Management

Have a clear idea of what you would like to accomplish and communicate that to employees and customers. Provide a career path for employees.

I worked at Exigen Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good product with much to offer.

    Cons

Poor mgmt and too much of it. Lack of direction, no strategic plan and diversity is basically non-existence. Mgmt positions are magically created to support the nepotism while those deserving to move up remain undervalued.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees and cut back on the mgmt.

    Pros

Many smart people, not the least the new management. Strong personnel in Baltics and Russia.

    Cons

Limited market awareness and reputation. A habit of putting "the B team" on key accounts and then working furiously to save them.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to claim to be the smartest people in the room. Concentrate on being the best partner your client can get. Build that reputation first, then people will think you're more than smart enough.
