    Negative Outlook

I worked at Expeditors International (India) Pvt. Ltd. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company has a dress code which implies it's a professional work environment.

    Cons

The Help Desk in Seattle is uneducated, no real world experience, and can screw up a cup of coffee. More than half the help desk was hired just because they know a higher up in the company. The people hired have no computer, college background, or even know how to turn on a computer. There is a big high school mentality with the way the Help Desk is run.

    Advice to Management

Management should be fired and replaced with a leader. The manger I worked for is one of the worse. There is no morale or acknowledgement of doing a good job.

I have been working at Expeditors International (India) Pvt. Ltd. full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good company to seek experience, but not a long term organisation. Unless you are from southern India or a YES Man

    Cons

Forged books, manipulated culture, you need a GOD FATHER, be a YES Man, or most importantly be a south Indian. Growing from within is just an eye wash. Working in EXPEDITORS india is like a chess board the moves are pre-decided. No equal opportunity for all.

    Advice to Management

It is important for senior corporate leadership from Seattle to review India Management and opportunities. The voice of employees is controlled by DM as DM is GOD. Everyone is working under threat

I worked at Expeditors International (India) Pvt. Ltd. full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Uniform culture across all branches
A very professional environment to work in
    Lots of career options
    Great growth opportunities
    Mandatory training
Branch allocates a bonus to you every month

    Cons

I started my career here and slowly realised that they underpaid.
Your growth depends on your manager. If you're good at something, it's most likely that you won't be allowed to move out of your current role easily.
    No work from home option.
    High pressure all the time.
    Work-life balance is hearsay.
Men get better opportunities than women. Women are seen as arrogant when trying to compete with their male counterparts.
There is no HR at all so most of the recruitment happen through recommendations and are biased.

    Advice to Management

It's good to hold onto the old traditional way of working but if you want the new generation to be interested in your company, you also need to change along with the times.

I have been working at Expeditors International (India) Pvt. Ltd. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Join to waste your career with unskilled management.

    Cons

Top management lacks skills and knowledge and take retirement from this company because they will not get these salaries anywhere else.

Employees are treated as slaves with no career path and Business Heads interested to eat bonuses.

Handful top South Indian people make money and corner all bonus amounts. People below the line are paid Peanuts.

Discrimination at its best and hiring all in known circles with no preference to skills and education.

No learning and career advancement, employees are frustrated and annual employees survey are sham with no action or results.

All nomination business, local selling is just for showcase with absolute minimal contribution.

    Advice to Management

No advise, as nothing has changed from last 10 years or will change. Take informed decision and don't regret once you join their third class culture.
