I worked at Experis for less than a year

    Pros

Only thing I can think of is that they pay you every week.

    Cons

The company will not pay you for holidays when your employer is closed; only until you have worked for them nine months or 1000 total business hours. No paid time off or bereavement leave is offered, only time off you gain is sick time averaging at 2 hours a week maxing at 3 days off. The benefits are non existent for the first three months, then when it kicks in for dental, vision, and medical you're looking at $125...

    Advice to Management

Treat the contractors better as they are they are the face and voice out there representing the company. Experis won't be able to trick the publics perception with consistently worded single lined high rating phony reviews on GlassDoor for long.

I have been working at Experis for more than a year

    Pros

None that come to mind - I found my position/hiring manager at the external company, and they simply redirected me to use Experis for the actual hiring. No proactive recruiting on Experis' part so I can't even speak to that side of their operations.

    Cons

-Extremely low rate offered for my industry - turns out they make on me more than twice the rate they pay me - nice markup -Truly terrible communication with the people who are supposedly there to be your liaisons. Some are inauthentic, and I've caught another higher up recruiter in a lie. Same person would not call or email when he said he would, I had to be my own advocate to say the least. -Poor service, even just...

    Advice to Management

My wife and I are very much glass half-full, grateful people. I don't know why the service to your contractors is of such poor quality, but I highly recommend taking corrective action. In fact, you lost a very large client in our local area (my company) because you failed our audit. Review your talent, method of service to your revenue base (contractors), etc....not sure what's going on here, but I have not benefited...

I have been working at Experis

    Pros

I have a job and the reps are nice I guess.

    Cons

A lot of miscommunication about the what the role would be and the compensation. I had an issue with time card and when I called in I got transferred to 3 different people because nobody seemed to understand my issue.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your recruiters know what the exact role is before hiring and giving out information

    Cons

Short term contract renewal, but that can be a pro as well, depending on your outlook.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. It's not easy, but the job you're doing is phenomenal.
