I worked at Exponential-e full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Nice colleagues, own coffee place

    Cons

Lack of automation in processes, no career progression, bad management and enterprise organisation. Very hierarchical. No work flexibility at all. Network is the main product and they don't value the effort of employees working in other areas.

    Advice to Management

The live NPS encore rating isn't the highest innovation, there are people doing other amazing applications and features that aren't as appreciated as this for the CEO.

I have been working at Exponential-e full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Friendly staff - Nice offices - Fast growing company mainly with more and more sales staff.

    Cons

    - Strategy is developed on a month by month basis - start up mentality still very present - Blame culture resides - Revolving door of staff - High pressure - Long hours encouraged by management team - Very cliquey. If you're not in with the right managers or directors no amount of hard work or success will be acknowledged - No real strategy. Make it up as they go along depending on which director shouts loudest/threatens...

    Advice to Management

New Management needed from the very top layers to the very bottom of the management. There is too much management bulling where by everyone is to afraid to say anything as HR team just bush it all to the side and fail to address this. Many staff members just too afraid over them thinking they will lose their jobs. really need to support staff more.

I have been working at Exponential-e

    Pros

Lively staff engagement team, nice offices with convenient location. Some senior managers are very close to the staff and go the extra mile to make people feel happy.

    Cons

Hit and miss management, many people in the wrong place Way too much authority given to middle management Complete lack of long term IT strategy Benefits are hardly worth mentioning

    Advice to Management

Have a strategy and follow it

    Pros

Friendly staff "Doors always open" management Focus on internal progress rather then external hiring Brilliant set of benefits including pension, bonuses and private health care for perminant roles Excellent holiday entitlement and they also offer 3 days paid charity leave

    Cons

Company is growing quickly and the small company mindset can sometimes hamper deals

    Advice to Management

Review the management structure more, the company had a danger of outgrowing the internal systems
