    Pros

    Cons

they will make you refold the pants 10 times before you can leave..... on your first day be prepared to work all night!

    Advice to Management

ease people into the job.... or at least let them know what is going to happen the first day

    Pros

Cool people to work with, really fun when you make friends at the workplace and make the most of it. Simple work, tedious and monotonous but not hard.

    Cons

Monotonous, boring, and really belligerent or rude customers at times.

    Advice to Management

Employees probably need a little more encouragement or motivation in order to do a better job.

I have been working at Express part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The 40% discount on clothes even works on top of 30% off and under. This is literally the only perk.

    Cons

Says there no dress code but want you to buy and wear their clothes. They don’t pay enough for to even afford their 88 dollar jeans. Can’t keep employees from leaving due to inconvenient scheduling.

    Advice to Management

If you want your employees to wear and advertise your clothes, raise your minimum wage to 14 an hour. Your clothes aren’t cheap.

    I worked at Express part-time

    Pros

The only pro is their employee discount.

    Cons

Long Hours, employees were rude to newly hired, pay is not the best.

I worked at Express full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Upward mobility, relocation available, generous expense report compensation, this is a pool full of tiny fish, if you're a big one you can go far

    Cons

No support, mass exodus of talent, they no longer pay for top talent, really poor HR department, general mistrust of employees,

    Advice to Management

You get what you pay for. Eliminating payroll and decreasing pay rates while expecting the same results is not achievable

    I worked at Express part-time

    Pros

Discount was nice and the other people I worked with were really sweet.

    Cons

The location I was at did not get busy therefore I walked around the store doing nothing during my shifts.

    Advice to Management

If someone leaves the company, you should still pay them no matter what circumstances. It's been almost two months since I left and I still haven't been paid my last few hours I worked.

I worked at Express part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The discount and the clothes

    Cons

The pay and the amount of stress they want you deal with from really rude customers. It’s almost like abuse sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Be more appreciative of your sales associates. They are what help runs the store successfully. That’s how you lose employees. They don’t feel apperchicated and that’s never okay. Don’t take advantage of people thinking they’ll stay and stick around deal with not being treated right. That’s how you have a high turnover.

I worked at Express part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you like the clothes they have, you get an employee discount.
    Work was simple.

    Cons

Working at Express was a pain and management was always expecting you to know how to do everything at their pace without any form of guidance to start you off and on top of that, they would talk about you behind your back, actually 5 feet away like you can't hear them instead of addressing the issue directly.
Too much drama in the workplace and management would choose favorites.

    Advice to Management

Stop being over-dramatic and focus on getting all the team members on board so that we can meet your sales goal.
