I have been working at Express part-time

    Pros

Lots of hands-on experience, easy training, lots of opportunities for hours. I was often called in to fill in for those who would call off or could not make it.

    Cons

You have to be able to learn quickly and think on your feet.

    Advice to Management

Put out schedules more in advance and fill gaps in schedule sooner if possible.

I have been working at Express part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The 40% discount on clothes even works on top of 30% off and under. This is literally the only perk.

    Cons

Says there no dress code but want you to buy and wear their clothes. They don’t pay enough for to even afford their 88 dollar jeans. Can’t keep employees from leaving due to inconvenient scheduling.

    Advice to Management

If you want your employees to wear and advertise your clothes, raise your minimum wage to 14 an hour. Your clothes aren’t cheap.

    I worked at Express full-time

    Pros

Great company to grow and develop a career with.

    Cons

Company corporate directors/managers didn't understand the idea of the work-life balance, it was all about what we could produce oppose to inquiring about our well-being at leasts once.

I have been working at Express part-time

    Pros

The work space was fast paced, and never a dull moment

    Cons

Unfair wages, worked too hard for minimum wage. Most managers didn't even work and bossed us around all day

    Advice to Management

Actually do your job and don't blame us associates for not making a segment. And when a segment is made, credit should go to all workers

I have been working at Express part-time

    Pros

Fun environment, friendly, lots of hours

    Cons

Pay, not enough well trained associates, hard to move up, no raises due to lack of "titles". Sometimes you can be overworked and under appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they're worth. Don't keep them from moving up just because you're content at where they're at.

I worked at Express full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Upward mobility, relocation available, generous expense report compensation, this is a pool full of tiny fish, if you're a big one you can go far

    Cons

No support, mass exodus of talent, they no longer pay for top talent, really poor HR department, general mistrust of employees,

    Advice to Management

You get what you pay for. Eliminating payroll and decreasing pay rates while expecting the same results is not achievable
