      Pros

The salary is good and the building is nice.

      Cons

Horrible company culture, no work life balance, high turnover. Everyone is waking on eggshells trying to put out the next big fire. There seems to be little strategy & planning. They also have poor customer service.

      Pros

Good Benefits and Most Coworkers are Pleasant

      Cons

MICROMANAGED!!, Company Does Not Value Employees and Despises Employees with Disabilities, Tenure Means Nothing Despite the Ridiculously High Turnover, Low Morale, No Work-Life Balance, HR is useless, Employees are Expected to Worship the Company with Nothing in Return, Company is Reactive Instead of Proactive (they wait until a disaster happens to do anything about it because they don’t want to spend any unnecessary money to possibly prevent issues, and also in part because no one really knows what’s actually going on at any given time), There Are Too Many People Without Experience (that don’t know how things work) Trying to Run the Business (without any input from employees that actually do the jobs), The Company Claims to Care About Patients and Clients, But It’s Really Just About Numbers and Profits, Senior Management is Clueless and Don’t Care How Horribly Current and Former Employees are/were Treated, As Long as They Get to Put Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars in Their Pockets Every Year, and Despite Being a Multi-Billion Dollar Company, Employees Get Cheated Out of Raises and Year-End Holiday Gifts (not even so much as a paper card), and We Can’t Get New, Clean, and/or Functional Supplies Needed to Perform Our Jobs

      Pros

The pro was that the job was only a 10 minute drive from my home and didn't require me to use the highway. My coworkers were fine, many of them in their mid 20's and beginning to get immersed in the work world.

      Cons

Worked in the call center with patient assistance program for Pfizer medications. There was no work/life balance. If you weren't able to be at work when you were scheduled and the absence was not planned in advance, you were penalized by receiving points on the discipline system. The St. Louis area had a blizzard in February of 2011 and I missed two days and was penalized. The points you build up remain on your record for one year! There were no opportunities for advancement, supervisors were unable to provide consistent leadership. You could do the best job possible everyday and it accounts for nothing. you are constantly told that you are not doing what is needed, but what is needed is always changing! I took the job to get my foot in the door at the company and found out it is basically impossible to obtain a position in the Pharmacy Benefit Management side of the company. When I received a raise it was only .10 per hour. My final payrate was 11.10 per hour. Not a living wage. As a whole, my experience with the company was horrible. We made no money but th CEO is raking in money. Horrible.

      Pros

Most people are generally friendly, at least a few people are willing to collaborate in each department. The majority of employees try to do a good job

      Cons

Everything else. There is no work-life balance for anyone, even for direct supervisors. Management is expected to give the lip-service about patient care and quality of work but outside of meetings everyone knows there is too much red tape, miscommunication, and poor training to get the work done correctly. This company cares about its bottom line, never let them tell you different. The pay depends on who you worked for before the merger. From the Medco side, they have announced massive layoffs and closed entire facilities, then hired on the Express Scripts side for lower pay. With lower pay comes less experience, just another barrier to quality care for the patient. Raises and bonuses have been frozen for 3 years and I don't expect that to change. The employees have nothing to work towards or achieve other than their next paycheck and that is the only thing that keeps most of us there until we can find something else. They also REQUIRE you to use their services or the prescription plan won't cover the medications at the same rate. I've learned that this requirement isn't just for employees, its also for patients (including my own mother who works for company in contract to Express Scripts.) I have never, EVER felt so undervalued as an employee.
