Overall, a great place to work and grow.

Awesome company culture. Great group of people to work with, no matter what team. Great work life balance. Great benefits package. Insanely talented people across all teams. Sense of humor is required. Work hard, play hard kind of environment. The ExtraHop Platform itself is a wonderful piece of equipment that deserves to be part of any enterprise network.
Cons
The company is still going through growing pains. The hiring rate was a bit aggressive during my time at the company. Pay is a bit lower in similar positions at larger firms. It's quite difficult to move teams (at least from my position at the company.) The platform has yet to hit widespread adoption.

Great Product, Continually Innovating, Great Development team
Cons
Work and Life Balance is questionable at best some times. Poor sales person means you will never get anywhere in the company.

Engineering Forward

- Technical founders (that wrote a significant amount of code!) means business strategy is realistic and intelligent with respect to the product. - Managers with engineering backgrounds means tasks and deadlines are reasonable without the need to negotiate (SO nice). - Culture has a focus on learning, experimentation and positivity (no jerks allowed). - Very few meetings. - Great work/life balance (no need to check email away from the office). - Senior members of the team are very approachable. - Really fun, positive people. - A cool product with lots of potential for growth!
Cons
- Too many acronyms. - Difficult to maintain the close-knit feel as the company grows.

Pros
I started working at ExtraHop in September 2019. My interview experience was great and the Recruiting and HR team are incredible group of people to work with. The company culture is astounding and there is definitely a great balance between work and life. The Recruiting Team and HR team makes sure each of their teammates are successful and have the resources needed to be confident with what they need to accomplish. (And we all have a great sense of humor!) There are events that happen every single month that ExtraHoppers can enjoy. From Coffee Pop-ups in our cafe, to Plant nights, to random Pizza and catering events and even more. The company is growing at an immense rate, and now is the best time to join.
Cons
N/A, it's been a great work experience so far.
