I have been working at ExxonMobil for more than 5 years

    Pros

From a company stand point, excessive use of casual staffs in the Nigerian affiliate has helped drive both project and operational costs.

    Cons

The Casual Worker ratio is high. Lots of people are used and dumped without appropriate terminal benefits accrued to them being paid by their agency.

    Advice to Management

Management should look into the contracts with Agency and enforce payment of complete terminal benefits to casual staffs.

I worked at ExxonMobil for less than a year

    Pros

Lot of learning opportunities about tech & people. Every two or three years can take a rotation to another departments, so don't have to work with the same time or boss forever. Good salary and experienced managers can be very constructive.

    Cons

Always play safe and be conservative into every little things. A lot of paper work. Just like everywhere, got to know how to make your work look good. Especially when the bosses come down to check the work.
