    Must be part of a clique, and there are many, to advance in your career. If you are not in clique you will have to kiss up to one in order to progress.

    Stop letting hiring committee only interview potential candidates that they know

    I worked at ExxonMobil part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Not really much to do and a great place to learn how to deal with cash and credit transactions, as well as gaining communication skills

    Cons

    terrible wages, don't expect any type of raise, many interactions with mean and abusive customers, work is basically year round expect federal holidays which demand you be off

    pay more you cheap S.O.B
