    Pros

ECI has good benefits. There is good support for internal mobility and career development at entry through mid-management levels. It is a great learning environment where you can develop skills on the job if you seek out the opportunities, show interest and work hard. Exposure to Financial Services and emerging technologies helps to develop relevant skills to enhance your knowledge and build your resume. There is a great social network of people who enjoy camaraderie in and out of the office.

    Cons

Compensation may be less than one might make if they worked directly for a financial services firm in a similar role. Cross-functional communication and collaboration could be smoother.

    Advice to Management

Many employees don't perceive Management to be as open and approachable as you are/think you are. In broadly sharing information with employees, focus more on aspirational goals, progress and motivation... vision, market influences and technology. Ensure unity in communications.

    Pros

The only positive thing about working here was the people I worked with. I miss working with many of them and they made the stressful days much better. After the initial nightmare first few weeks, you will learn a ton here. This job is a stepping stone in your career.

    Cons

Pay. Extremely underpaid for the amount of stressful clients. Senior management talks down to employees. Training could be better for the first few weeks.

    Pros

The coworkers are nice, and despite turnover everyone is friendly.

    Cons

Training/leadership lacking. Especially in remote offices, you are left to figure it out a lot by yourself. No real guidance from Management in the region, and then problems when you make a mistake because no one trained you. No clear growth for non technical roles, low culture/employee value

    Pros

You get paid on time, If you're lucky you will have a manager that cares, staffing issues everywhere so you won't be bored

    Cons

No direction, just get more sales is the message
Benefits really suck now, apparently they're industry standard but but you're expected to be above standard on everything you do so why not apply that to what the business offers.
Pays a joke in all positions

    Advice to Management

Senior management changes so far this year have been good but still got some dead wood in there.
Bring in someone who knows what they're doing and not promote the next "brown nose"

    Pros

    - Being surrounded by people who will help you develop your tech skills and grow as an engineer.
    - If you're motivated you can move up but that means someone hire than you needs to get fired.

    Cons

    - Compensation is pretty low. Your "increase in pay" when going from Help Desk to Engineering is the fact that they pay you for lunch...
    - Health insurance took a gigantic nosedive when they switched from Cigna to BCBS.
    - PTO is laughable.
    - You will work like a dog and no one will notice. The minute you mess up once you have 5 people telling you all about it.
    - Low compensation and unfair treatment of employees leads to high turnover. Work there 6 months and you'll see different faces coming and going.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time listening to your rank and file. Stop taking on bigger and bigger clients without hiring more staff.

    Pros

I have been a full time employee with ECI for nearly a year and a half and it is definitely a place that I could see myself staying at long-term. If you're invested in your position, then there is definitely room to grow, as many of the employees in management roles have been with the company long-term and have been able to move their way up. Additionally, it seems that there is a lot of lateral mobility as well and managers encourage their employees to gain exposure in other departments.

Additionally, there is a good work-life balance with generous paid time off benefits.

    Cons

So far my time at ECI has been very positive so I don't have any downsides that are worth mentioning.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to your employees and doing what you are doing!
