I worked at Eze Software full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Young culture keeps the energy flowing, supportive colleagues, global perspective, the right mix of old(er) and new technology, innovative content and smart people. Great place to start a career in financial markets and technology.

    Cons

The necessary changes that the new management has introduced, has been disruptive for many.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you adjust processes to your people and not the other way around. Make diversity a priority in hiring at all levels.

I have been working at Eze Software full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Eze has a solid business that continues to grow; opportunities to do new things and learn are abundant. The company is trying to keep the small feel of a startup while becoming a corporation.

    Cons

Eze has had a tremendous amount of change, which creates a lot of confusion and angst amongst people, which can make them difficult to work with. Uncertainty about one's position in the company is common.

    Advice to Management

Continue with the charm offensive; communicate more about why the changes are taking place, particularly the support and consulting reorganization.

I have been working at Eze Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A young, fast paced group of employees that are great to work with.

Work is challenging but fun - you are able to learn a lot quickly.

    Cons

You can easily sacrifice your work life balance.

Given the nature of work, you can sometimes feel bad about taking days off.

    Advice to Management

The re-organization process has not been transparent and has negatively impacted a few teams while helping others. The treatment of the negatively impacted teams has been beyond frustrating and is really damaging morale.

    Pros

Excellent culture. Company definitely has an archetype they look for and do a good job of finding. The product is the best in the business and revenue has been climbing. Upper management always willing to change; not stuck in their ways.

    Cons

Ambiguous job titles but they are working to fix that issue. Unsure about upward mobility past the consultant level.

    Advice to Management

Continue to emphasize the work/life balance and solid compensation. Few people actually aim to be a software analyst for the entirety of their lives.

    - Significant lateral mobility, flexible management
    - Energetic atmosphere, fun company events

    Cons

    - Little upward mobility
    - Low salary for the work they ask you to do
    - Not for those who have issues with time management

I worked at Eze Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a good way to get into the Buy-side, and the company culture is a plus with a young and dedicated employee base.

    Cons

There are long hours (much like any finance job, so be prepared), and compensation was cut this past year due to a new salary structure more in line with 'industry benchmarks.'

    Advice to Management

Compensation and work/life balance were main concerns in our office, which lead to a lot of coworkers leaving Eze.

I have been working at Eze Software (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Many of the negative views are young/immature employees that do not understand the time needed to really make it, and having to put in hard work for more than a few months before you reach your dream job. The work here is challenging, and you deal with challenging situations/clients, for those that can take the heat, it can be a rewarding time in the kitchen.

Work/life can be hard at first, however if you work hard and efficiently it can improve.

    Cons

Can be hard to see long term career paths as there is not a huge upward space for mobility. We are growing from startup feel to a well established company so there will be growing pains.

    Advice to Management

Keep the true Eze spirit alive and compensate the high powered employees well to keep them here.

I worked at Eze Software full-time

    Pros

It is an awesome work environment. From the offices, to the idea of the chore wheel, to the quality of the people that
create a great team. It is a demanding but also rewarding environment and the company definitely provides opportunities

    Cons

Overall the life work balance is not great. It is expected that you will work overtime. Also, there is some lack of organization when creating road maps

    Advice to Management

Having more frequent 1:1 meetings with employees
