    Pros

Young culture keeps the energy flowing, supportive colleagues, global perspective, the right mix of old(er) and new technology, innovative content and smart people. Great place to start a career in financial markets and technology.

    Cons

The necessary changes that the new management has introduced, has been disruptive for many.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you adjust processes to your people and not the other way around. Make diversity a priority in hiring at all levels.

    Pros

good people to work with. great marketing guy who will make this mess of a product look better than it is

    Cons

this company is a sham. management has no idea how to run a company, product that does not work as it should, service going down the drain with the new model.

    Advice to Management

sell while the lipstick still covers the pig

    Pros

Average for the industry salary, polite colleagues, 401 (k) matching and overall good benefits package.

    Cons

Company has seen its peak in late 90s - early 00s. It's full of unmotivated engineers using outdated technologies. Office is old and somewhat ugly.

    Advice to Management

Hop onto the new tech stack train.

I have been working at Eze Software full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Decent compensation structure, casual attire, beer time on Fridays, bagels on Wednesdays.

    Cons

Work life balance, accountability across all departments, high turn-over, clear objective to IPO at the sacrifice of it's employees.

    Advice to Management

It is understandable that to have a successful growing company management must push for changes. It would help management though to remember that taking on too many changes too frequently with an ever dwindling employee base puts undue stress on the employees loyal enough to stay. Think through the changes desired and that even something as "simple" as changing the name to something has huge downstream impacts on many individual workflows.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Eze Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Free snacks, coffee, bagels on certain days, beer Fridays. Awesome amount of free swag
-Internal committees are a great opportunity for employees to get involved with the company culture/surrounding community
-Entry level jobs pay exceptionally well compared to industry standard
    -Vacation/sick/etc time is great

    Cons

-Management and leadership are terms that are clearly confused here. Plenty of "managers" barely any "leaders."
-Too much hiring of people who don't have industry background/experience which leads to confusion among teams/new hires/the flow of the current transition
-Huge lack of transparency between management and employees. It's ironic that one of the policies listed in the company principles about "bad news not getting better with age" is seldom followed by those who should be leading us. Be honest and clear about things, it's really not that difficult.
-Work/life balance? I'm sorry, but free snacks and beer on Friday's don't make up for the long hours and attention that is expected to be put in after you leave the office.

    Advice to Management

Invest some time in focusing on being transparent. And on learning what leadership means. Like the title suggests, cabinets stocked with pirates booty and craft beer aren't going to make up for the deeper problems ingrained here in the long term

I have been working at Eze Software full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits
    Free snacks, bagels and beer
    Good office location
A lot of smart people still left
    Office events and sports teams

    Cons

New CEO hides behind monthly emails and is stripping company of its previous strengths to cut cost before IPO. This includes:
-getting rid of bonuses. Employees get smaller year over year raises with no bonus, which has caused employees to generally not care. Morale and production is at an all time low. Why care if hard work isn't reawarded? CEO will tell you that he hired a consultancy to evaluate comp and that you are actually overpaid, which is motivating.
-support model has been removed and has been turned into a call center by young 20's something, underpaid, under trained employees.
-almost every department has hired an external managing director to run the department, totally devaluing internal talent being promoted.
-employees seem to be leaving at a faster rate than being hired, especially in mangagement positions

    Pros

Overall a great experience, but a couple of things really stand out about Eze in retrospect. Firstly, I made a ton of great friends and industry connections while I was there and I will never forget the high quality of the people. Secondly, Eze's commitment to career growth and development (as long as you take the initiative) really helped me form a career I am proud of.

    Cons

Going through rapid growth which is causing some growing pains, but also providing a lot of opportunity if you look at it the right way.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up and communicate as much as possible.
