I have been working at Eze Software full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Eze has a solid business that continues to grow; opportunities to do new things and learn are abundant. The company is trying to keep the small feel of a startup while becoming a corporation.

    Cons

Eze has had a tremendous amount of change, which creates a lot of confusion and angst amongst people, which can make them difficult to work with. Uncertainty about one's position in the company is common.

    Advice to Management

Continue with the charm offensive; communicate more about why the changes are taking place, particularly the support and consulting reorganization.

tries hard to maintain the startup feel

I have been working at Eze Software full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible Schedule for most
Managers are easy going and don't bother you so long as your work get's done.
    Benefits and plenty of perks.
The place is known as a stepping stone for better pay elsewhere, get experience and move on.

    Cons

Upper Upper management still stuck in old ways. This company could be so much more if they change the standard way of doing things.
Not enough resources. Company has a hard time retaining good talent.
Pay does not compare with industry standard.

    Advice to Management

Treat this place like a corporation not a small business and you'd be amazed at what this place can be. Out with the old in with new fresh talent. Some people still around that should move on and let opportunity knock for others who are more qualified.

I have been working at Eze Software full-time

    Pros

    Good location, benefits and vision

    Cons

Very unorganized, too many decision makers, inexperienced young people running the ship into the ground, very brisk style totally on a power trip, no one has any experience, OVERKILL in many areas leads to busy work, enthusiasm is great but unfocused.

    Advice to Management

need a cross mix of ages, may be less expensive to hire 30 year olds but co lacks diversity and no one there is the next Gates or Jobs.

I worked at Eze Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Eze has a very fun culture if you're into drinking with friends after work and going out together. It's a very young company so it's great if you're new to the area of like socializing at work. The pay is pretty decent and the benefits package is competitive.

    Cons

The culture can also be a downside. Work life balance isn't great by any means. They're big on "work hard play hard" which can means 60+ hour weeks etc. If you like being able to leave a little early on a Friday guilt free this place isn't for you.

I have been working at Eze Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A young, fast paced group of employees that are great to work with.

Work is challenging but fun - you are able to learn a lot quickly.

    Cons

You can easily sacrifice your work life balance.

Given the nature of work, you can sometimes feel bad about taking days off.

    Advice to Management

The re-organization process has not been transparent and has negatively impacted a few teams while helping others. The treatment of the negatively impacted teams has been beyond frustrating and is really damaging morale.

    Pros

Excellent culture. Company definitely has an archetype they look for and do a good job of finding. The product is the best in the business and revenue has been climbing. Upper management always willing to change; not stuck in their ways.

    Cons

Ambiguous job titles but they are working to fix that issue. Unsure about upward mobility past the consultant level.

    Advice to Management

Continue to emphasize the work/life balance and solid compensation. Few people actually aim to be a software analyst for the entirety of their lives.

    Cons

The training was very dry and could use improvement.
