    Great benefits and high salary.

I worked at Eze Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a good way to get into the Buy-side, and the company culture is a plus with a young and dedicated employee base.

    Cons

There are long hours (much like any finance job, so be prepared), and compensation was cut this past year due to a new salary structure more in line with 'industry benchmarks.'

    Advice to Management

Compensation and work/life balance were main concerns in our office, which lead to a lot of coworkers leaving Eze.

    Pros

Employees in GTS are young and excellent to work with. Company culture is great. You do learn a lot in your first year regarding the product and finance. It's very fast paced work which I honestly enjoy most. There is a track for the first few years in which you can move up to new positions and gain more responsibility.

    Cons

Salary's seem to be going down as we approach the IPO. High up, long-time employees are leaving. Eze seems to value constant churn of cheap new hires over retaining experienced talent. Negotiating salary is a non-starter unless you have a firm offer from another company. After about a year+ in GTS your knowledge will plateau until you leave to consulting/etc.

    Advice to Management

Give incentives to stay at the company. Highlighting EBITDA increases at semi-annual meetings seems to more highlight the savings received from decreasing salaries, eliminating bonuses and frankly cutting costs everywhere. There seems to be no differentiating in employee talent when making raise offers or considering promotions.

I worked at Eze Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a very young overall company with many kids recently graduated from schools. Very dynamic, fast pace, actively trying to apply latest industry innovations to the product. Located very close to South Station. Has a lot of ways to keep you entertained at work. Great if you are willing to learn latest technologies. Promotions if you are willing to work hard are quite feasible.

    Cons

Office is uninspiring, packed and gets noisy - it is I guess old mill or factory from 19th century converted into a software sweatshop without much thought or design input. Processes are fragile and not enough automated. Despite being a quite large company, still feels immature. Codebase and toolchains are quite complex.

    Advice to Management

Create better working environment. Focus more on the long term rather than quarter to quarter performance. Cultivate passion.

I worked at Eze Software full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great technical team to work with. Being in the financial sector, you have more power to play with than most places.

    Cons

They implemented a salary review for everyone and compared them to the software development industry. If you were above the 75th percentile, which was almost everyone I know, you no longer got a yearly raise. And since they are positioning themselves to be sold from TPG, all OpEx is a no no. Every year I was there, benefits and perks went down, workload went up, and team size went down.

    Advice to Management

Hold managers / directors accountable for their teams leaving en masse. Keeping talent at a premium is cheaper than replacing it with inferior, albeit cheaper, talent
