    I enjoyed my 30 years with the FAA and found the salary good and the work exciting.

    Cons

    Mandatory retirement at age 56.

    Advice to Management

    Pay attention to developmental controllers needs and document poor performance early so the system is not burdened with controllers unable to do the job.
