    Much investment in training, much investment in developing/growing employees; feel like you are directly serving and protecting the US Public

    Cons

    Excepted Service - makes you less competitive for other federal jobs if you want to branch out

    Pros

    Finest law enforcement agency in the world. Get paid relatively good money to wear a badge and a gun and catch really bad people.

    Cons

    It's the federal government and all the bureaucracy that goes with it.

    Write Reports and Free Food while watching Suspects. Great Healthcare as a result of doing minimal work. I Love Mr Gerson!

    The Major Con is the Justice Department. The biggest con is the amount of Money which is spent with Few "Big" Results!

    Exciting opportunities and job responsibilities. Every day is a new adventure and rarely are two days the same. A challenging job with tremendous responsibilities.

    Cons

    Being part of the FBI means that there is a potential for being in dangerous situations. It also means that nights and weekends can be interrupted at a moments notice. 100% worth it.
