I have been working at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I like working for a company that has my back and appreciates my hard work.

    Cons

Some challenges are keeping up with new technology and being aware of recall updates.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your workers and keep your word. It really goes a long way in the end.

    Pros

The people at Chrysler are the BEST, and contrary to the posts by some individuals seen here, characteristically very strong and resilient. There is also a spirit of belonging, and camaraderie at Chrysler unlike any other company - and even (or especially) in these most difficult of times, people help each other and pull together. It helps to be a small nimble company, with a long history of innovation and invention, and a direct 2-way exchange with senior management.

    Cons

Sadly Chrysler is in a far worse position than it would have been due to the damage done by Daimler: Chrysler was irrefutably the gem of American industry in 1998 and at the pinnacle of Automotive success when it was sold out, and then like the proverbial cash cow, systematically bled dry of cash, quality, and product content. - Fortunately, Cerberus immediately took extreme measures and spent enormous sums to reinstate quality and the product - putting "Customer First" and "Quality PERIOD". - So there is now therefore a much better prospect for the long haul - even if it means operating with some new, or radically different business model.

    Advice to Management

Take back the 20% that Daimler still holds over your head.

The most negative aspects of the job, is that due to size getting to the right person to make a decision can be difficult.
