I have been working at FCB Health Network full-time for more than a year

    Pros

With 1000+ employees, FCB offers many opportunities for creative collaboration. FCB seeks and attracts a diverse team, and the effect of this diversity is often excellent work that stretches assumptions. Overall there is a relaxed, friendly vibe that helps grease the wheels of teamwork. Senior figures are not aloof or hard to engage. There's a true sense of pitching in for better results. And you learn a lot here, too, surrounded by experienced coworkers.

    Cons

Sometimes slow-moving processes lead to late night and weekend work. Too often, this could be avoided with better planning. At least the growing acceptance of working from home/routing from home has helped this issue, but it has not eliminated work getting pushed onto weekends.

I have been working at FCB Health Network full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Employee moral is high, good transparency from supervisors; all voices valued and heard.

    Cons

Well, it’s advertising-it’s going to be stressful, and then you add the additional pain of regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry

    Advice to Management

Encourage more transparency between teams on the same account to diminish the tendency to silo in our respective departments.

    Pros

Creative, lots of pro-bono pitchwork opportunities outside of your brand to work on, unlimited PTO, ok to work from home sometimes

    Cons

promotion review cycle is limiting, getting promoted into a new role results in a lower salary than you would get elsewhere

I have been working at FCB Health Network full-time

    Pros

Cool office, fun events, challenging work, great colleagues, lots of business growth

    Cons

LONG Hours. I averaged over 60 hours a week for months. The effort was barely recognized and certainly not financially rewarded.

    Advice to Management

Align salaries to years' experience. Reward crazy hours, loyalty, ingenuity and creativity.

I worked at FCB Health Network full-time

    Pros

Casual environment, flexible time off, work from home option

    Cons

Little to no support from management, practically no training, poor communication between managers, unstable workflow

    Advice to Management

The company as a whole is great, the benefits are great, but the department wasn't. Managers didn't seem to communicate with each other at all and didn't communicate great with workers either. All the easy brands and teams are given to people who have been around longer, and all the difficult ones are given to newer editors. Several newer people I spoke to agreed that there was an utter lack of proper training. You basically get thrown into things and then left to manage it. Workflow is kind of absurd. Sudden weeks upon weeks of no work. For what little scraps of work there was, you had to compete with everyone else on who could snatch it up the fastest. Just very unprofessional all around. Recommended only for people who have been editing for a long time, otherwise you get chewed up and given all the garbage work.

I worked at FCB Health Network full-time

    Pros

Good Benefits, decent pay, the location is nice...

    Cons

In order to keep employees and produce QUALITY work, superior authorities need to NOT talk down and belittle their employees. The EGOS and sense on Entitlement here is beyond ridiculous. Upper Management only cares about making themselves look good, even if that means bringing down their "Team" members. This department doesn't function as a team and is quick to point fingers, instead of having someones back. Proper training doesn't exist and they set everyone up for FAILURE. Upper management needs to learn to take accountability for their downfalls too and stop acting like they can do no wrong. On top of all of that, the women in this department, are bringing down other women; they are very catty and petty. This could be Mean Girls part 2.

    Advice to Management

Train your managers and supervisors on what it means to run a department effectively! The ones currently there are not promoting a work culture that anyone wants to be a part of. FCB needs to start monitoring the work of their Managers and Supervisors, rather than relying on them to be the so called professionals. Not Everyone with the years of experience has the knowledge patience and professionalism to run department.
