    Pros

    International infrastructure and services group with international references and capability. First private water operator in Spain and 3rd in Europe.

    Cons

    Spanish Company in painful integration / reorganization process after being acquired by the Mexican telecom tycoon Carlos Slim end of 2014 for being under severe financial stress.

    Advice to Management

    Needs urgent international definition of vision, strategy and objectives with according Human Resources organization.

    Pros

    FCC is v good an the managers also good we working in Riyadh metro Project.

    Its not only downside i want to change the company

    Pros

    Diversified activity, technological developments, highly qualified personnel, good work environment, a lot of dedication to work.

    Cons

    The effects of the construction crisis are affecting it indirectly in Spain, which is why its development abroad is being strengthened.

    Advice to Management

    The preparation of the staff should continue to be strengthened to face challenges abroad, without neglecting the national business.

    Pros

    Challenging projects where you can innovate and prove yourself what you are able to achieve and the go for a better job.

    Cons

    Bad management, safe standards, Salary and benefits, working long hours everyday including Saturdays with just 8 leave days per year. It is more important to be present than to be working.

    Advice to Management

    Take more care of people who are working for you. Construction is a hard work and if you want to be able to trust in your employees you need to treat them well.

    I worked at FCC (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Well-established Spanish infrastructure player (one of the 5 largest), with more than 50% of its turnover abroad.

    Traditionally a very safe employer.

    Cons

    Current owner of parent company (FCC - Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas SA) not particularly keen on Construction / Infrastructure.

    More keen on other areas, such as Water Treatment, Waste Collection....

    Advice to Management

    Too many changes in recent years, 3 redundancy processes, no clear business focus or strategy.

    Pros

    Salary is good, But is less as compared to the other MNCs

    Cons

    Management is work centric and not employee centric, they dont care about the employee.

    Pros

    Opportunity to travel, many projects around the globe. Some very nice people but not in managerial possitions

    Cons

    Managers with low qualifications, despotism in some of them, many hours everyday working, no respect for personal life

    Advice to Management

    just open your ears and check your employees necessesities

    Big company with projects all over the world. Dynamic roles that get you into many different disciplines and professionals.
