    Great work schedule (AWS and telework). Supervisor is very encouraging. Work is very mission oriented.

    Hard to move to different departments if you have to go through USAjobs

    Pros

    You get to help the survivors. You have two breaks plus lunch break. Overtime when there's a disaster is well paid.

    Cons

    They change your schedule too much so you can never make plans for the future

    Flexible work schedules, travel, assist citizens who are really in need during disasters.

    low morale, not allot of different types of contracts

    support employees and have one set of rules for everyone not just their favorites.

    Dedicated and passionate staff. The Agency is mission oriented and serves survivors at their time of greatest need. Energetic team that fosters innovation.

    Cons

    Public perception is misinformed and casts a negative light on dedicated employees. Hours can be long and it is possible for deployment to disaster impacted areas.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to foster an environment that embraces innovation and empowers employees to be critical thinkers. The success of the Agency is built on its front line employees.
