I have been working at FEV North America full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    - Interesting cutting-edge technology - Dynamic work environment - Diverse projects - Strong culture - Growing and investing in North America - Committed to positioning themselves for success in the changing mobility industry

    Cons

    - Pay might not quite match large OEMs and suppliers - Group culture varies from team to team - Projects can stop and start suddenly - Lack of brand recognition outside the engineering world (your friends and family likely won't understand what you do)

I have been working at FEV North America full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

There's an opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility and advance within the company. Projects are diverse and work is high-paced. The healthcare benefits are great and HR is doing a good job of improving the culture within the organization. Each department is different, but team outings are common and encouraged by managers. Overall, a decent company to start your career at.

    Cons

Management can be hesitant to change - ideas are often shut down despite them being the industry "norm". There are people who try to improve the culture/work life, but management isn't always on board with it. While the medical benefits are great, FEV doesn't offer any maternity/paternity leave.

    Advice to Management

Most of the leadership team has been with FEV for years and some even their whole career. They are out of touch with how other companies operate and it would be beneficial to have an outside perspective once in awhile.

I worked at FEV North America full-time

    Pros

Diverse project types for engineers, excellent technical staff

    Cons

Salary is not competitive with comparable companies and there is extremely limited opportunity for advancement. Negative work environment due to untrustworthy management who habitually cut corners and lie to customers. Internal problem-solving difficult thanks to an apathetic and incompetent HR department.

    Pros

Good benefits and good offer letter. But raises poor and not fair.

    Cons

Bad management, supervisors say stuff to please management even if false. Or they make it up. Many employees have left, large turn around. Poor raises and favortism. New hires beware. Poor raises but management spreads the wealth amongst themselves and poor bonuses unless your management.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees just not supervisors or managers. Your loosing good employees because you don't listen but to supervisors or manager. Get off the pedestal and just listen

    Pros

Autonomy, free coffee and tea, always working on something different is really nice.

    Cons

Managment, ability to move up, and pay

    Advice to Management

Listen to your lower level employees and pay them a competitive wage, not something 10k less than what others offers.

I have been working at FEV North America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Remote work, flex time, almost zero cost healthcare, company culture seems ok, average 401k match, 4 weeks of vacation I don’t have anything else to write but it says I need more words.

    Cons

Some disorganization within team do to bad development practices but not an issue with the company overall, core profit source is powertrain development and gasoline engines aren’t going to be around forever they need to expand into other areas
