Pros
-Work life balance was good(depends on the team and manager under whom you are working). -Good Mid-level management(though depends on team). -Good IJP(internal job posting) opportunities.
Cons
- Salary is not competitive (less salary) as compared to other product based organization - Less onsite opportunities. - becoming service based organization. - In some teams, micro-management happens( I've been part of different teams).

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed benefits like work-life balance, supportive management and career mobility. In terms of salary, we have a formal pay review process each year. The increase an employee may receive through this process considers several things – including evaluation of the employee’s performance, their existing pay compared to the range for their role and the company’s budget for increases. Lastly, we are committed to making sure our employees’ voices are heard which is why we deploy an annual People Survey as a tool for employees to address their concerns. Managers at all levels can view comments and results left by their team so they are aware of improvements needed.

Pros
nice atmosphere, great people to work with, opportunity for internal movements dynamic environment, full of change - can be pro, can be con
Cons
the work life balance used to be good in the past that has changed and keeps changing for worse - new clients, new projects, the department is constantly understaffed and people are leaving due to lack of recognition with expanding FIS University program the compant has decided to fill most of new or replacement postitions with fresh grads - not very great idea with more advanced projects or onboarding new business. It also supports only employees of program - in the process of 2020 merit review all joiners (some of them are in the company just for a few months) became eliglible for a significant raise, no matter of the review they got (pay raise for underperformers and employees within improvement program). At the same time professionals with years of experience and exceptional review received no pay raise, no well deserved promotions, in general nothing but a generic E-MAIL from CEO saying thank you for your hard work. That's a joke. All that justified by the COVID hard times, economic situation (its not what FIS communictes outside). It didn't bother though to announce that FIS will be paying off student loans for new joiners in US - really nice to work here and see the company is only willing to recognize its future workers, not existing ones

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear that you appreciate the people at FIS, career mobility and work environment FIS offers. Our employees are our strongest asset and we want them to know that their concerns are always heard which is why we deploy colleague voice surveys for employees to address their concerns. Managers at all levels can view comments and results in aggregate so they are aware of improvements needed. Also, though you posted anonymously, since you identified yourself as a current colleague, we also encourage you to report any of your stated concerns through your manager, a member of the People Office or the FIS Ethics Hotline.
