I worked at FIS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    * People are friendly * Easy WFH.

    Cons

    * Worst Pay, not good health insurance. * No work life balance. As there are not much people in every team, all the resources are stretched working extra hours to communicate and get work done from resources sitting in different time zones. * No proper visibility of what is going on, what the direction for the team/business unit is. * No Bonus

    Pros

Work Life balance in the location I am working.

    Cons

The Compensations are below market and they give minimum raises between 0-2%. Management does not care about employees and does not take steps to retain employees not even the high performers The Carrier opportunities are limited Not much compensation difference between high performer or low performer

I worked at FIS full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - The amount of vacation/sick time is decent - The cafeteria is quite good - Can make some good friends from colleagues if they stay long enough

    Cons

    - There is almost always mandatory overtime - Zero work/life balance here - Promotions are a joke because you have to be there a specific amount of time to get one regardless of any previous experience unless you are one of the “favored” of management - The communication to the teams from management is terrible. There will be emails making sure you do something different but no one will tell you they are no longer doing it that way until there’s an issue and they actually ask. - The HR department is nonexistent. There are incidents on the floor ( inappropriate behavior to colleagues, inappropriate comments from even management on the floor, etc....) and HR does nothing. Management also ignores any complaints you may have about anyone. They will say they will talk to the person but never will. - Teams never have a direction due to the high turnover of each area and of management. - The teams are never fully staffed - Many have undeserved titles all the while people who deserve them consistently get overlooked but get bigger workloads than those with higher titles. - Morale is the worst I’ve seen

I have been working at FIS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

good work life balance great people to work with. If you don't want to do a lot of coding then this position is for you. This is more of a hybrid role. You communicate with clients more and some coding. You will get to work with c#, SAML, SSMS and internal developed software. downtown location

    Cons

Work is more concentrated towards for FIS. You will not be able to use it outside of FIS unless you get a web services projects. no cafeteria parking is not paid for so when you park in the building you have to pay $25 a month.
