    Pros

    flex PTO, fun teams, engaged clients, remote work, healthy work/life balance, C-level transparency, and great benefits.

    Cons

    Can be difficult not having an office space. I do miss the social interactions an office has to offer.

    Pros

    Good products and services, Great leadership, "open door" communication & an overall attitude of helpfulness. Good, well-established, and knowledgeable teams. Work/life balance is emphasized in actions as well as words. It's clear that the company cares about employees. Opportunities to advance or change paths within the company are made available to everyone. In time I've worked here, I've repeatedly been shown that the company cares not only about what is good for business, but about what is good. They work to improve diversity and continually open dialog with employees. Management is very clear about the company direction and creates many opportunities for employees at all levels to offer feedback or ask questions from management all the way up to the CEO.

    Cons

    There is room for improvement with some processes, but this is continually being improved. There could be improved documentation, but this is being worked on as well.

    Pros

    used to be a good company before the merger

    Cons

    Leadership has no idea what they're doing (everything is a fire) and rewards themselves with trips to resorts. Their incompetence rolls downhill and makes the job harder. Retention is at an all-time low. I would never recommend working here.

    FM:Systems (NC) Response

    Thank you for your feedback. The FM:Systems leadership team values all input from employees. It was this type of response around our President’s Club trip for Sales personnel that led us to create a Company-paid trip for which all FM:Systems employees are eligible to be recognized and rewarded for their exceptional performance. Our first excursion is scheduled for October 2021 and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re excited to deliver such a meaningful benefit to exceptional high performers and in future years, we’ll have a single President’s Club trip, combining trips for all departments. Attracting and retaining high quality talent is and continues to be a top priority. Challenges have accompanied our company growth but we are actively working to improve company-wide communication along with our rewards and recognition programs. We value the hard work, dedication, and insight of our people and remain open to continued feedback, making adjustments along the way. My door remains open for direct feedback at all times.

    Pros

    An honest, open culture that cares. Truly dedicated to sustainable, responsible business between clients and partners. Everyone strives to deliver the best experience for co-workers, clients, and partners.

    Cons

    Management heavy, sometimes leading to indirection or delayed direction. Accelerated growth means a lot of new people to work with - Certainly not always a "Con" but can hinder progress with company initiatives at times.

    Pros

    Growing company with good product. Lots of opportunity if you are "in" with the right people.

    Leadership is learning as they go, and are having a hard time making good decisions as they grow quickly.

    Pros

    The CEO is a fairly nice, bright guy and the company that owns FMS seems to be willing to spend money. FMS's partners also seem to do the majority of the selling and configuration of the application.

    Cons

    The tech is ancient, the mentality is ancient, and some of the workers on the tech side are downright deplorable. There is a lot of rampant favoritism, sexism, and immaturity in the work force on the tech side. For a company this small, there is also a lot of turn over. While at FMS I witnessed 5 people leave and 4 get fired. The people who got fired all seemed to be due to some immature office politics. 9 people leaving in a company of less than 100 is kind of crazy. On the HR side of things, the benefits are pretty mediocre and extremely expensive. Unlimited PTO is really "unlimited" because they know you can never take very much (book a week of being off and you're made to feel awful for even taking it) and so that when you leave or they fire you they don't have to pay out PTO (remember that high turn over rate?).
