    Cons

Low focus in talent development, unclear or non-existent career plans High stress due to high expectations and under-performing lines Very old-school, low diversity and extremely experienced (not very exciting for a younger group age)

I have been working at FMC full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Colleagues, professional development, opportunities for growth/experience

    Cons

New Exec Mgmt is ruthless which is good for business but same attitude for employees. Losing our best and brightest because vast majority of new or pivotal roles going to former Rohm and Haas employees despite CEO saying he wouldn't do that.

    Advice to Management

Do what you say you're going to do for both FMC and its employees.

    Cons

No clear definition of the focus of the organization. Ever changing goals and priorities. Claim financial difficulties but continue to spend spend money on non value added projects with serious travel costs.

    Advice to Management

Clearly decide the mission of the organization, communicate it to everyone, and give feedback on both successes and failures. Us technology to bring plants leaders together, Have open meeting discussions so successes and failures can be shared and questions discussed between plants.

    Pros

not too many, an ethical company

    Cons

pay raises capped at no more than 1 or 2 percent. Experienced employees are taken for granted and have no chance for advancement. Instead the "youngies" get all the advancement since they are cheaper. Benefits are horrible.

    Advice to Management

You are going to need a mix of young and old in your organization and you need to value the experienced employees equally with the young upstarts.
