    Cons

I have been working at FMC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The salary is on par with the region.

    Cons

    Where does one begin...
The executives are only interested in padding their pockets.
They higher consultants for everything instead of listening to those in the trenches because it's all about greed and profit even if it takes an employee 3 times the amount of time to now do a task.
The infrastructure is garbage... especially procurement.
They reward bad behavior. It's okay to have affairs because the married president did. Or commit fraud on your expense report because a sales director does.
You're guaranteed employment if you can fudge numbers or hide charges.
Accounts Payable is given orders to delay processing payments at any given time so either the CEO can get his bonus or so quarterly reporting numbers look good.
Many managers can't manage their way out of a paper bag.
And they all think the employees don't know any of this...even down to the CEO walking into his glass door which required stitches. So much for the emphasis on safety and the bogus "safety shares" we have at every meeting.

    Advice to Management

It's insulting to your employees when you pull this disgraceful behavior. Everyone talks about the years of poor communication at FMC. It's not an issue of some business teams or people being left in the dark. The management is untrustworthy. Straighten up your act, act like decent professionals and stop sticking your face in every magazine, news segment, interview and clean up your house! Your personal ratings are dismal.

I have been working at FMC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I received a decent bonus this year.

    Cons

Too many meeting, overly concerned with hitting numbers, not driving the business or making sound business decisions. No concern for employees or positive moral in company.

    Advice to Management

Look to the outside for hiring instead of constantly hiring from within, internal hires lack drive, decision making abilities, only interested in politics.

    Pros

Good salary. Signing bonus and retention bonus to seal the deal. Only a two year contract and then you can leave and not pay relocation and bonus money back in full. You will realize that you want to leave in 6 months or less, if you have ever worked at some place that is good.

The lone pro is the money. Everything else is a con. A consolation is that you only have to stay 2 years before you can leave without having to pay back the up front money.

    Cons

Micro management like you have never seen before! An absolutely horrible Union that runs the place and a management team with no managerial fortitude and zero leadership skills. The leadership is at there best when painting a story for corporate.

    Advice to Management

FMC did well to sell at a premium. Tronox and Tom Casey bought a cash cow to save the TiO2 business, but the cow is very ill.

Severe the FMC legacy and get a fresh start with a new management team with modern skills, strategies and techniques.

    Pros

Excellent Pay. Sign on bonuses available. New building coming in later 2016 which includes a cafe and nice facilities for working.

    Cons

Operations should expect and demand better and effective corporate leadership. High turn over. Three women leaders have left the company in the last six months. Worker Safety is not going to get better if leaders keep lowering the goal in order to guarantee their bonuses.

    Pros

Most of the people that have been there for years are very dedicated and professional. Good pay and average benefits. Good international presence for global experience.

    Cons

Very poor senior management. They took the very strong momentum from previous regime and drove it into the ground through arrogance and huberous. CEO has changed the culture for the worst over his tenure. It has become obvious to most employees the senior management is not in it for the long haul.
