    I worked at FMC

    Pros

The pay is (was?) good, for a time there was a minimum guarantee of 40 hours per week, not sure what they give now.

    Cons

Terrible benefits- ridiculously high deductibles for ridiculously high premiums. It isn't what you know, it is who you know for how far you can make it. I had seen some brilliant minds with years of experience let go because they weren't friends with management. One fellow with nearly a decade under his belt was traded for someone with less than a year. All of the promised perks that were IN WRITING were taken away,...

    Advice to Management

Quit laying off experienced men and women to save a dollar. Communicate with employees about plans instead of letting everything go to voicemail until it is time to lay off or make drastic changes.

I have been working at FMC full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Pay and good job security outlook.

    Cons

Staffing is too lean and therefore, stressful. Do more with less people, unless you work at headquarters. Corporate policies/procedures not very balanced with what is needed at the production level. Safety is #1 but not listed in the job descriptions as #1 and goes from there. New CEO and his followers brought in over the past few years try to make this company just like the one they came from. Managers change every...

    Advice to Management

Need to be less top heavy with staff on the global level. Not sure where their diversity talk is when they deal with staff at the production facilities level. If safety is #1 then every procedure and job description would start with safety.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at FMC full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

not too many, an ethical company

    Cons

pay raises capped at no more than 1 or 2 percent. Experienced employees are taken for granted and have no chance for advancement. Instead the "youngies" get all the advancement since they are cheaper. Benefits are horrible.

    Advice to Management

You are going to need a mix of young and old in your organization and you need to value the experienced employees equally with the young upstarts.

I have been working at FMC

    Pros

    Advice to Management

Que haya mas control en la línea gerencial G20 y se exija mas a la posición
