I have been working at FOX Sports full-time
Pros
Fun to work in sports- some perks of going to games
Cons
Upper management does whatever they want and is never in the office. No leadership and no room to move up. The people who do all the work are underpaid and treated with little to no respect.

Pros
Being around sports and high profile events, learn to work in fast-paced environment, awesome health benefits, lots of vacation days
Cons
No office equipment, bland office, limited office gatherings, upper management screams and yells, lots of turnover, yet people in director positions never leave so not a lot of opportunity to move up, long grueling work hours, minimal compensation for amount of work/effort needed.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at FOX Sports full-time for more than a year
Pros
***THIS IS FOR FOX SPORTS ONE, PRIOR TO THE LAYOFFS*** - You get a TV at your desk and can just watch (monitor) sports. Every game and package too - The place has some cool people (I'll explain this as a con below). - Got to go to a Dodger game and do some other field production - Being on a movie lot was neat -Everything was brand new - Semi lax dress code
Cons
- Awful schedule; essentially since it's "sports news" you don't get to have a social life. You will work early mornings (5am) or late nights (1am). And holidays. - Due to the fact you work all the time, you begin to resent your coworkers - People who had been at FS (before it was FS1) were lazy and annoyed it became a network - Upper management doesn't care about you - A lot of, "well this person has been here longer, so they get special treatment"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at FOX Sports
Pros
Occasionally fun work environment, nice lot.
Cons
No room for movement, very political environment, producers are heavily favorite-based on the people they choose to work with, you are dispensable regardless of how long you have worked there, no structure for raises, unpaid overtime, inappropriate workplace relationships by upper-management.

"Upper management cares more about bottom line than rewarding good employees"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at FOX Sports for more than a year
Pros
There are a handful of very well-meaning upper management heads who, despite the financial situation of the company, do want their employees to thrive and succeed. I see them struggle to maintain positive morale around the office, and their commitment to providing quality user content is genuine. They're stuck between a rock and a hard place, and it's easy to have sympathy for these few, caring individuals. Schedules are very flexible, and managers are very understanding with situations outside of work that would require an odd schedule or time off. (Maternity leave, continuing education, medical appointments, etc.) Many employees are friendly and in high spirits, able to ignore some of the more obvious failings of the company. It makes things less awful than they truly could be.
Cons
Many high-ranked, upper management types are paid quite a bit for doing practically nothing. In some departments, the managers do contribute to the overall function of the company -- but in the my department, there are a few extremely overpaid figures that do nothing but sit in an office all day and take zero initiative to take over responsibilities from lesser-paid staff editors and assistants that were only performing these managerial tasks while new staff was hired. There is an embarrassing amount of financial waste across the company. Poor employees are routinely promoted and/or given raises while many hard-working and beneficial employees were laid off this past year. The company claims it is broke, but instead has been squirreling away money for "a rainy day" while cutting contractor hours in half to save money and prevent the company from having to pay these workers F/T salaries and benefits. What another commenter said about people who act like they're working but spend all day throwing around footballs/playing ping pong is absolutely true. Several departments never seem to work and are camped out at the office ping pong tables all day -- and then, these departments have the gall to complain that they are understaffed and cannot perform requests from other departments in a timely manner.

Pros
If you're looking to work in a company that TRULY has international affiliations, this is the company to be with as it is a media powerhouse so it's a great inclusion in your CV and the people working there in the Singapore office are true professionals
Cons
The management could hire upper management better as they had put ill-equipped people in charge of certain areas in the hopes they would improve with time which they didn't and as a result dragged everyone else down with them.
