I have been working at FXCM full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Smart people /peers, great ability to learn a lot for self-starter and advancement opportunities if you are willing to pursue them.

    Cons

Lack of communication /lack of information flow from top to bottom. Junior employees feel uninformed and out of the loop.

    Advice to Management

Not much. Great management overall with some rotten apples but I think this applies to nearly every firm out there. My personal experience as employee was of being appreciated, and having a great dialogue with my managers. The best part of Fxcm is that you can pave your own career path, can get hand on experience and real knowledge nearly on any aspect of the business. No one will hold your hand or present you with options but opportunities are there for grabss.
