    Cons

Work flow can be a little problematic if facing a difficult client/project; although the office is really great at what it is good at.

    Pros

    Cons

human capital is not a priority - no one cares about the people but HR; professional development, LEED status requirements are good but not for everyone

    Pros

Nice, sweet people to work with.

    Cons

Not the most talented or sharpest. Sometimes a great studio head will make for interesting projects, but many pedestrian studio heads.

    Advice to Management

    Do not grow by acquisition.

    Pros

Collaborative, inclusive environment. Diverse staff. Management genuinely cares about employee morale and motivation. Lots of opportunities to meet staff at events inside and outside the office.

Like all architecture offices, hours can be long. Challenging to earn a promotion. Very quiet environment.

    Advice to Management

Keep supporting young staff, continue focus on strong design and being selective with which clients to work for.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at FXFowle Architects PC as an intern

    Pros

great people. pretty good work-life balance. lots of expertise in the office on built projects, especially in new york.

    Cons

range of interesting to not-so-interesting work. mid/large sized firm treads the line between being design-oriented but also large and corporate-feeling.

    Advice to Management

keep it up! continue to give younger designers opportunities for leadership; it seemed like there were ample opportunities when i was there.
