    Pros

    - High impact projects for interns and all access to an intern to make an impact of high scale (I had good expectations from Facebook internship, and indeed it provided an awesome internship experience. It overall turned out to be better than my expectation)
    - Awesome work culture with super friendly people
    - Free culture promoting discussion and free flow of ideas and information

    Cons

I do not have any cons as such to write here which I realized from my experience as an intern @ Facebook

I worked at Facebook (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good environment and interesting projects, along with amazing salary and benefits

    Cons

There is a danger of working too much just because all the benefits make you think that you owe the company to work more than you already do

I worked at Facebook as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Facebook has one of the best design teams in the world, and deals with particularly hard problems. Interns get lots of responsibility, but the biggest learning is from the people around you.

    Cons

Some of my fellow interns did not receive interesting projects or had difficult relationships with their mentors. This happens at all big companies I think.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the intern program, and continue hiring from diverse backgrounds (not just professional design schools!)

I worked at Facebook as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

1, It provides many activities. Weekends activities in beach park, baseball game, zoos etc. Informative sessions includes summer fest, research informative session for P.h.D.
2, open work environment. The work atmosphere is very good. You get to work with many talented people and learn from their profession and efficiency. They have many support groups each one of them can help you with some area which you have difficulty with.
3, Perks are very good. You got free 3 meals a day, and you got many free stuff.

    Cons

I can not think of much disadvantages. For people who don't like work at high pace, it might not be good to work in facebook.

    Advice to Management

    so far pretty good.

I worked at Facebook as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of good things to say about Facebook: I've worked at other Bay Area tech companies, and Facebook culture and management is really up there. Extremely open culture helps cultivate functional relationships between managers and employees, unity in understanding what the end goal we're working towards is, and huge ownership and responsibility of owned projects. Product directly affect the lives of millions of people everyday, and the company makes sure employees are taken care of (especially interns!). Company has good prospects, and the vision statements and culture strongly manifest themselves in how the company is run, and how products are made.

    Cons

As with any other top tech company in the Bay, the sense of entitlement and superiority is high with some employees.

    Advice to Management

From what I've heard, recruiter experiences are different across different people. My recruiter has told me she has 6 or 7 times the amount of people to manage than other recruiters, so I was often left hanging with questions. Although on a recruiter-by-recruiter basis the experience will obviously be different, there should be some consideration in providing a more cohesive and consistent experience for all.

I worked at Facebook as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Interns treated with just as much respect as FTEs
    - Have more fun events as an intern at FB than the FTEs do
    - Company phone loaned to you for the summer
    - Feel like you have a real sense of freedom and potential to change the world
    - Felt like my voice would be heard and respected if I voiced diversity concerns

    Cons

    - They don't have a PM internship program (otherwise I'd want to stay forever)
    - Feel super pressured to do your best (maybe it was just me?); intense to the point of potential burn out (good news is you can reach out to many resources such as your HRBP if you feel this way! don't go it alone everyone! reach out! it helped me a lot)

    Advice to Management

Give your interns a chance to do some big stuff. Have a little faith in them, and suspend your disbelief.

I interned at Instagram this past summer and, long-winded story of how I got there short, I got the chance to form really great relationships with some of our execs because they didn't write me off as a silly intern with unrealistic ideas when I brought up some of my feedback.
