I have been working at Facebook full-time for less than a year

    Pros

From the long list of benefits that my family and I can take advantage of, to the inclusive, supportive, hard-working company culture, I couldn't be happier working at FB. You're surrounded by really smart people who care just as much as you do about the work and impact you can make here. Giving and receiving feedback is highly valued. You have the opportunity to grow and develop the skill sets that you want to - you don't necessarily feel like a cog, even though the company is huge and growing.

    Cons

Company is growing so quickly - potentially faster than the company is able to keep up with in a sustainable way.

I have been working at Facebook full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Top of industry comp and benefits. Tons of incredibly smart people across a wide range of areas. Combine this with a culture that encourages cross pollination and collaboration between teams, and you get a great opportunity for learning. Tooling is one of the best I've seen/heard of in the industry if you're in the right org. But if you go to Oculus, for example, the tooling is far behind.

    Cons

There's a lot of entitled people and SJW. Public opinion is really bad. Work/life balance can get pretty bad in certain teams. Engineering still feels a bit hacky in certain places.
