I have been working at FacilitySource full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Decent pay, good culture and benefits

    Cons

The job itself is not difficult however can be overbearing due to poor communication and lack of trust from upper management. I can only speak from my experience on the enterprise account. My manager is constantly hovering and is prompt to point out any errors. I’m constantly interrogated from one of my four managers’ who uses an accusatory tone all the time. She lacks the skill to manage effectively and forces... her resolution regardless of any input I might have. Senior management only cares about numbers. We need to be trained better. You can ask two people about the same issue and they'll have two different answers. Things run smoother, more efficiently and considerably quicker when people have their own designated tasks

I worked at FacilitySource full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Decent pay and starting vacation

    Cons

There is not enough room. The management here in exterior department is horrible. The director and VP in particular. This is their answer to many issues is hire a director. That person just added to the overall mistreatment of employees. Forced to work extrememe hours and employees treated with zero respect. They are treated like robots with no breaking point. And they also treat vendors with zero regard.... Average tenure is 6 months in this area. Need I say more?

    Advice to Management

Fire VP AND DIRECTOR and then start fresh. Don't take on more business until you have the infrastructure to support the business you currently have.

I worked at FacilitySource full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Decent pay rate, that is really it. Their rates are fairly competitive when compared to the local job market.

    Cons

They are just awful at software development and refuse to learn from their past mistakes. In order to compensate for poor practices expect to work long hours, late nights and weekends. They take advantage of you being a salary employee in this way. Issues and complaints go unheeded and at best you are paid lip service. The worst people possible are put in management and leadership positions. They are also... eliminating local talent and replacing it with cheaper off-shore developers. Expect this trend to continue.

I have been working at FacilitySource full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You will definitely be hired as they are not picky whats so ever in who they hire. Decent Pay , 20 PTO days

    Cons

Awful management, extremely rude , our manager often apologizes for being rude '. High turn over, Somebody from the team leaves every month. You have to be 'on call" all the time. They don't pay overtime. We are often promised rewards and incentives but once we achieve our goals.. our rewards are often forgotten

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better... Train them. It's not always about the margin.. We make you a ton of money. You are in the process of loosing all your good employees.
