    Positive Outlook

I worked at Fairhaven Retirement Community as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Mission driven faith based organization.

    Cons

I did not experience anything bad. Staff are working hard, some morale issues but we worked to overcome concerns.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the faith atmosphere.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at Fairhaven Retirement Community full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, excellent opportunity for continuing education, spacious office

    Cons

No vacation time for the first year, very hard with children. Not up-to-date with policies and procedures.

    Management (RNs) extremely unprofessional.

Human Resources does not provide confidentiality. At times would request mandated paperwork for facility license to be done wrong.

    Advice to Management

Human Resources really needs to be addressed. Still using typewriters and not up to date with 2017. Nurses dropping swear words is completly unprofessional and hard to lead a team with the inability to establish respect. Also, RNs should be hired that have had experience as a leader

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Fairhaven Retirement Community full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The facility was clean, well organized and the staff was mainly friendly. The residents were well cared for by the CNAs

    Cons

The pay was not the best, but certainly not the worst. There was some confusion by residents and some of the newer staff just because of the size of the facility. It was easy to get lost in!

    Advice to Management

Perhaps there could be more extensive training for new employees, not for how to care for the residents really, we all know that coming in, but for company procedures, where things are, and scheduling
