    Pros

Company that is investing in their people with a focus on health and wellness, team building etc. Some good examples are developing and emphasizing employee recognition and staff cafeterias that encourage team feel (Executives eating the same food alongside Room Attendants).

    Cons

Just like many hospitality companies, you do need to love what you are doing in order to make it worth it. It will require your dedication and time.

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop positive company culture throughout the brand. I hope my positive experience is reflected at other properties as well!

I worked at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty much managing 5-6 positions at a time. Really good for college students or recent grads looking to get a lot of hours in. Definitely built my interpersonal skills and taught me how to do heavy multitasking.

    Cons

They sometimes overwork you, but that's expected in a laborious position like this.
