    Pros

Decent benefits and great people that are patient orientated.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Fairview Health Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Caring co-workers, flexible work hours, decent benefits overall, good visibility to upper management, wear many hats and have lots of responsibilities

    Cons

Too much decentralization due to M&A; however, management is working on centralizing processes. Corporate needs to put their foot down on some of the subsidiary management teams that tend to do things "their way".

    Advice to Management

When acquiring another entity, try to do a better job at laying the groundwork for centralization once on-board.

I have been working at Fairview Health Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People are awesome - the Nurses are excellent, Psychiatric Associate are absolutely the best, and security personnel are by far the best at what they do.

    Cons

Work load is UN-manageable, expectations are unrealistic, quick to judge-reprimand - no support from Directors, Management, or Supervisors - no incentives not even as much as a, "good job" - poor PTO/Vacation/Holiday pay... for Holidays you have to use your PTO/Vacation time or no pay. Work and family initiative is awful, absolutely the worse employee engagement. Micro manage - spy on and micro manage employees but way of monitoring computer use, parking passes, employee badges, phone records

    Advice to Management

Better incentives and recognition, have employees back and support, let employees work from home, trust your employees.

    Pros

Caring leadership and staff that work together with a shared focus on patient care. Collaborative teams and volunteers that respect the contributions that each person/position brings.
