I have been working at Fairweather part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice coworkers if youre lucky, you make some money at least. Its retail so its not all terrible

    Cons

Low pay, no perks, all the incentives are for the management team when majority of the time sales associates are pudding sales to get a decent amount of hours

    Advice to Management

Have an exchange policy that is universal so customers dont think the associates are making up their own rules. Incentives should be for the whole team not just management.

I worked at Fairweather part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Good, professional team
    - You can earn some basic retail experience pretty fast and easy there
    - Good as a first retail job

    Cons

    - The lack of work hours
    - Manager's attitude
    - You have to yell through the whole store in order to say something to your coworker. They simple just do not want to use headsets (so unprofessional)

    Advice to Management

    - Keep your promise. If you promise to give your employee 15-20 hours per week then please do it. I received this promise and still worked for less than 10 hours per week even though I did really big sales. They just hired too many employees

    Pros

    Meet new people
    Friendly people
    Friendly employees
    Horrible Managers
    NO HOURS

    Cons

They never trained me on anything. I had to get trained by the key-holder which never even knew I was coming in. They cancel shifts about 10 minutes before you start it so you're basically wasting your time going there. The manager was counting the cashier at closing and came up short on some cash. So she looked upon ME asking one of the keyholder's to check my bag because she thinks I'M the reason that she came up short on balancing the cash register, meaning she thinks I STOLE the money. Mind you, i never got trained on the cash register yet, so how is that possible for me to steal from the register? On top of that, they don't give hours, they pick favorites on the ones who should be giving the longest hours. My availability is the same as everyone else so I don't understand why I'm getting the least amount of hours than everyone else? Sometimes I'd only work 3.5 hours a week, A WEEK!!! This is unacceptable. The only reason why i'm still working here is because I need the money/job. This is the worst experience I've ever had, and this is my first job! Future people who want to work here, turn the other way! Please!!

    Advice to Management

Get proper mature managers that know how to run a store and know how to TRAIN people!
