I have been working at Falcon Critical Care Transport full-time

      Pros

Scheduling flexibility and ability to gain experience right out of EMT school.

      Cons

The downsides are numerous. Lowest EMT salary in industry, there's only one manager so if you have a problem or concern it will rarely be addressed. Can't keep employees so EMTs will constantly miss out on hours due to not having a partner to work with on their shift. Mainly 8 hour shifts and OT is kept to a minimum. As a FT employee you have to choose between benefits and PTO.

      Advice to Management

Your growth is limited if you don't have employees. Put them first.

I worked at Falcon Critical Care Transport full-time for more than a year

      Pros

great place to start out as an EMT, Peter is the only approachable person in management, some people were great to work with, Dispatching showed improvement, super flexible work schedule, occasionally get to use new equipment, different stations to work from - makes for an easy commute

      Cons

bad pay, the raise is only 50 cents hourly after working there a year, bad company culture, all other management personnel were unapproachable, insufficient training for CCT, some nurses were very rude/ condescending, no recognition for good work- this leads to less than adequate EMTs, working environment here encourages laziness, the old equipment is legitimately falling apart, work becomes repetitive and leads to burn...

      Advice to Management

appreciate your employees by actually talking to them, a generic email means nothing

I have been working at Falcon Critical Care Transport part-time for more than a year

        Pros

-SOME employees you get along with extremely well (I hang out/talk to a few out of work) - Patient care - Better uniforms than Falck/Ver Health's red polos (they look like staples employees) - Peter (Supervisor) is very understanding and tries to do what's best. Probably the best management personnel that the company has

        Cons

-DISPATCH SUCKS -Pay isn't so great -We need better rigs! (Sprinters at every station PLEASE!!!) -Equipment isn't as great, it's getting old - SOME employees are idiots and don't know what they're doing

        Advice to Management

-Give us better equipment at EVERY STATION (Marin, ALCO, Fairfield etc...) NOT just San Pablo base - New rigs for every station, ESPECIALLY Marin PLEASE!!!!! (Sprinters or transits?) - Treat employees better, show them you care and reward them with little things
