    Pros

    High Profile Clients, good pay

    Cons

No directions, confusion leadership, old wordflow for building digital products in house.

I have been working at Fame House full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

I've worked all over Philadelphia and beyond for dozens of companies. None are perfect. Most aren't even close. Fame House tries, though, and it shows throughout the company. You might start low on the ladder, but growth opportunities are plentiful if you can show up, do the work, and show initiative. Coworkers are nice, although maybe a bit younger than you're used to, and expectations are generally reasonable. It is...

    Cons

People are young and sometimes inexperienced, which is good and bad. The company will often take a "let's figure this out" approach to issues rather than a "here's the standard protocol," and while it can sometimes feel chaotic, it's also not bogged down with old beurocratic rules that stifle productivity. If you have a good idea to help, chances are people will want to hear it.

    Advice to Management

Take it all in stride; don't get mad when things go wrong. Young people are flighty and the music industry is unpredictable, but we're in the office five days a week figuring it out.

I worked at Fame House full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

      - Some of the people are cool. - Benefits are great, thanks to UMG. - Famous clients.

      Cons

Salaries are below industry standard and basically stagnant unless someone threatens to leave. After working there for a few years and getting a promotion, I only saw a cost of living bump – which was presented to me as a "big deal." The attitude of all employees is overwhelmingly negative, passive aggressive, and toxic. People are often unkind to one another and I found myself falling into this same behavior to keep...

      Advice to Management

Just because culture is "fun" and "cool," doesn't mean it's healthy. Re-evaluate the way you treat employees and the way they treat each other.

I have been working at Fame House part-time for more than a year

        Pros

Great place to learn. Fast moving and a lot of growth opportunities.

        Cons

No comprehensive training program - can feel like you miss out of many of the moving parts.

        Advice to Management

Develop a training program that's not just reading and watching modules. Sit down with new hires/interns and get to know them.

I have been working at Fame House full-time for more than 2 years

        Pros

        Young and cool work environment.

        Cons

People are only your friend when it's convenient. Don't expect people you think are your friends to have your back when you need it. Account managers are inexperienced and unable to delegate. Some account managers don't know how to face their team directly an resort to back stabbing behavior.

        Advice to Management

Step out of your wing and start talking to your employees. There are more issues than you can imagine.
