I have been working at Family Dollar Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Family Dollar treats their employees very well benefits and leave are awesome. They are willing to schedule around college class schedules, and around my volunteer EMT calls for out small rural town.

    Cons

One of the very few cons is the pay for an assistant manager is lower than expected. I am hoping work ethic will improve the wage.

    Advice to Management

Up your pay for management staff

I worked at Family Dollar Stores full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The DM and GM were on their game!! Always gave examples and specifications on what they wanted!!

    Cons

Finding something in the back is nearly impossible if the crew doesn't take the time to keep things organized.

    Advice to Management

Unloading the merchandise: Spend the extra money, allow a crew to work overnight once a week to stock the new shipment. This helps customers find what they're looking for without being blocked by carts of overfilled merch.
