I have been working at Family Dollar Stores full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful place to learn retail if you don't know it and fantastic place to further your experience if you do. I have been a store manager for about 6 months now and am already looking to advance my career further. With the right people and the right attitude, this is the best place to work. There is so many opportunities for advancement it can make ones' head spin.

    Cons

My only gripe is that there are constant resets. But if that is all there is to complain about, I'll be happy with it. :D

    Advice to Management

Keep looking for the best in people. Give store management more time to complete resets and the budget that will accomplish it even if it is going over a little on the back end. Presentation through better resets will sell alot more than not.
