I worked at Family Health Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Family Health Center is sincerely a mission-driven, patient-centered health care center. FHC has wonderful and caring clinicians and support staff who are diverse and trained in cultural competence.

    Cons

The enrollment specialist position is a stressful position and the workload is heavy. This person must be understanding of his/her clients while capably navigating the individual through a cumbersome and complicated insurance enrollment process.

I worked at Family Health Center (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very active clinic. Working in three different departments women's, Ped's and adults was a great learning environment. Working with such a large staff was great, being able to be apart of such a fluid team. We truly helped each other and new what team work was.

    Cons

Being the late person is hard because then you have to make sure all the providers are taken care of for discharge. So weather it was lunch or end of day it is stressful to manager all the patients till clinic is empty.

    Advice to Management

the late person should be more of a rotation position
